Deleting Unused Resources

As an admin, is there a way to view whether a resource has ever been
used across all projects? I'd like to delete resources never involved
in any projects, vs. deactivating them (to keep things cleaner). I
don't want to have to go into each project ( > 150), and would like to
see a summary of all resources (or a single resource) to view their
past and current assignments (including completed assignments). In
VIEW RESOURCE ASSIGNMENTS, it appears you can only view resources who
have current, in-process assignments.

Thanks!

Use View Resource Assignments, but select the "All Tasks" option in the
sidepane. Hope this helps.

Sue,

I had the same need recently. I used Portfolio Analyzer to look across all
projects and all time by resource. Simply use a pivot table, drag the
resource name to the left, and Actual Work in the Data field.

You can sort by Actual Work, and see all the resources who never worked.

Warm regards,

Joel P.
