Disk Error Problem

As I've seen with other posts I'm having a "disk or network error" occur on
the front end of my Access 2002 database when a form has been idle for some
time or when I try to go into design mode. I have gone to
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q251254/
but that doesn't solve the problem. Haven't made any big changes recently
to the database, just a few new reports and queries. Does anyone have any
ideas. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Paul

Hi.

Is the exact error message, "Error accessing file. Network connection may
have been lost"?

If so, was this database file opened by a computer with Access 2000
installed, but without SP-3 installed? If so, during this session did the
user import or copy any form, report, or module into this database and forget
to compile the VBA code before closing the database? Is so, then please see
this Knowledge Base article concerning a nasty bug:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?id=304548

If this is not the case, then is your OS Windows 95? If not, then are you
on a wireless network? If not, then check your network hardware: routers,
switches, cables, power supplies, et cetera. You may indeed have a bad
network connection.
