We're using Outlook 2007 on an Exchange 2008 server. One user has this
problem. All updates and patches are current, XP Pro.
I can create a new local distribution list from scratch. I can then send
mail to the members of this list without problem. But, when I click the '+'
sign next to the DL name in the 'TO' field, the list name disappears and is
replaced by semi-colons. The mail will not send now as Outlook doesn't
believe there is anything in the 'TO' field.
We also have some global distribution lists that are created on the server
and show in everybody's Outlook. When I send a message to one of these groups
from the bad machine the list expands as expected, so this problem is
isolated to local DLs that are created in the user's Contacts folder.
I've seen other's report this issue but have yet to see a solution. Any ideas?
Thank you.
