Do I need manually initial secondary data source

Hi,

When I check "Caculations" example XSN file in Infopath SDK, I found there
are some codes in "OnLoad()" event are used to check if the form's underlying
XML document contains any data and then inject the data into secondary data
source.

I found "Caculations" XSN file do not contains SP1 function, so do I need to
write those code in XSN files with SP1?
