does anyone know when to expect "Office 2010 RTM"

Can anyone tell me when Microsoft plans to release Office 2010 RTM? I just
currently recovered a location from a disaster. I installed 2 new servers
running Windows 2008 R2 and Exchange 2010. They were suing Microsoft Office
2000 and a few 97. For e-mail they are using Outlook Web App.

I do not want to purchase Microsoft Office 2007, but I need to test Office
2010 on a single computer in my test environment before purchase licensing
for the additional 225 clients.

Office 2010 is likely to be relesed end June 2010. However, if you buy
Office 2007 now, you get free upgrade to Office 2010. The only charge
you have to pay for the upgrade is shipping costs of a new CD.

You can try Office 2010 beta now for free. Try this link:

Release Date - Microsoft Office 2010

http://blogs.office.com/b/office_bl...010-coming-may-12-for-business-customers.aspx

RTM - April 2010 - "Starting May 12, business customers worldwide will be
able to buy Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010, along with Visio 2010 and
Project 2010. And everyone will be able to buy them in June."
I just
currently recovered a location from a disaster. I installed 2 new servers
running Windows 2008 R2 and Exchange 2010. They were suing Microsoft Office
2000 and a few 97. For e-mail they are using Outlook Web App.

Best and easiest way to test Office 2010 is to get the 32 bit version of
the Office Professional Plus 2010 Beta.

http://www.microsoft.com/office/2010/en/download-office-professional-plus/default.aspx

It includes:

* Word * Excel * Outlook with Business Contact Manager

* PowerPoint * Publisher * Access * InfoPath

* OneNote * SharePoint Workspace * Communicator

You can even run both Office 2007 and a 32 bit version of Office 2010 Beta
if you choose customize during the install.

My company offers a very helpful summarized online source information for
vital Office 2010 beta and Office 2007 links at this page:

http://www.encouragersoftware.com/profile/microsoft-office-2010.html

or you can take the time and download a free data viewer - Product Scope 7
Viewer (included in the Product Scope 7 install program)

and the Microsoft Office 2010 Profile Exchange - Web Update Program
(install program containing Microsoft Office 2010 and Office 2007 data).

available at http://www.encouragersoftware.com/download.html

This is not a gimmick - without ANY cost to you, just some time to download
and install the viewer if you choose, or just use the abbreviated online
version.

There are no registration fees or email registration to use Product Scope 7
Viewer.
