Draw a Line

I can not draw a line or access the lines that were drawn using,my previous version. The "Lines and Connections" group on the Drawing tool bar is grayed out.

Sorry, but you'll need to provide a much more accurate description of the
problem... The drawing tools in Word for Mac do not include Connectors -
2008 or otherwise. They are available in the other apps, so if the objects
were actually created in PPT or Excel then pasted into a doc they were
converted to a picture. You don't give enough information to warrant further
speculation. If you include your exact version of Office 2008 as well as
what "previous version" you're referring to along with a thorough
explanation of the objects involved perhaps someone can help out.

Like Bob, I am a little mystified -- The Drawing toolbar in Word 2008 does
not HAVE a Lines and Connectors option, only "Lines".

PowerPoint 2008 has Connectors. If you draw your picture there and paste it
into Word you will get the job done. But when you paste it, it will be
converted to a "Picture" which Word 2008 can't edit.
