Duplex / Mail Merge

I have created a double sided postcard and have mail merged with an Excel
file. However, rather than having a different name on each post card, I get
the same name on for cards.

Under printer setup I have chosen:
1. Multiple pages per sheet
2. Orientation = Landscape
3. Number of copies = 4
4. two sided printing option selected

HELP!

What version Publisher?

If you are using 2007, when you are ready to print, go to File, print merge,
this is the screen you will use to setup your print.

At the bottom of the screen, change all the margins and gaps to zero. Set to
landscape, choose multiple pages per sheet, one copy. Select duplex in the
printer properties. You will see two fronts on the right and two backs on the
left, this will print and preview correctly.

Front of Postcard Back of Postcard (Name 2)

I wanted...

Front of Postcard Front of Postcard

Front of Postcard Front of Postcard

Page 2

Back of Postcard (Name 1) Back of Postcard (Name 2)

Back of Postcard (Name 3) Back of Postcard (Name 4)

When you duplex in 2007 with two pages, Publisher prints it just as I said in
the earlier message.

If you want it setup the way you show here, then create two publications, do the
merge, manually turn the stack over and do the other side with the second
publication.
