I am unable to set up my e-mail account on Entourage because it keeps telling me my Account ID and Password are incorrect... I've retyped them many times (correctly) and still get the same message. Anything I can do or will I just not be able to use Entourage?

Thank you for your time.

Check for added spaces at the end.

Go into your Keychain and delete all account info.

Delete the account....not just the info and add again.

See this page for help setting up your accounts. If you use the auto setup
account, it verifies your info.

I tried... it didn't work again : ( I still get the same message that my account ID is not correct or that I have a bad password.

I would verify your info with our ISP.

You can monitor your traffic between Entourage and your ISP to see exactly
what is failing. This shows both User and password are OK. If you have this
info it will help when you call your ISP.

A report would show something like this:

Test your network with tcpflow. See directions here:

<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/troubleshoot/tcpflow.html>

Another application I ran into recently that does the same thing but has a
different interface.

EavesDrop....Let it capture some stuff then double-click any of the lines of
text in the main window to see more detail.

These programs were not capturing anything when I tried running them while verifying my account information... ? I read the directions and thought I was running it correctly. Sorry

In the Terminal window, were you able to enter your password?
