Earlier Saved Version Recovery?

Hi,
Today I completed one presentation, saved it, imported slides from
another file to use the template, deleted the other slides, meant to do
a "Save As" but instead accidentally SAVED the presentation complete
losing the previous version of that slide show! Is there any way to
recover previously saved versions of a PowerPoint file? Windows,
Office XP.

Not unless there happens to be a temp file around. Search for *.TMP files.
