Early start dates in a Visio timeline?

Is it possible to add early start dates for a Visio timeline. I need to
create a historical timeline with dates as early as 400 BC to the present
time. Thanks for your help.

No--Visio has the same date restrictions as Excel. Making the earliest date
1/1/1900 (=0 integer)

You can always just draw a timeline manually...or map the old dates to
modern ones and turn off the date display.

Hide the dates created by the timeline and put in the dates you want in the
appropriate positions.
