Earned Value Report using Data Analysis

All,
I am trying to create an earned value report using Data Analysis
capabilities. The EV numbers will be associated with a charge no and
will be time-phased.

- if a create a task level custom field for the charge number, how do
I get it to show in the dimensions list when configuring the cube?
- what measures would I use to reflect EV (Baseline Cost, Cost, Actual
Cost, Baseline Work, Work, Actual Work) since EV calcs are not in the
Field List?

Is this type of thing possible? Has anyone done this before in a data
analysis view?

Hi Shane,

I would look at the Visual Reports feature in Project 2007, it has an EV
view configured, and from here you should be able to work out how do do a
similiar thing in the cube.

To get the data into the cube, so it can be done across multiple projects,
you'll need to go into server settings, cube configuration and add you Task
ECF into the dimensions. Note that this ECF will have to be a lookup table.

Also, if you look at the projectserverexperts KB they have a couple of
postings on EVA.
