Edit a picture of a table

I have a report to edit where the data tables have been imported as pictures.
I can right click the graphic and select edit picture and then change the
data as necessary, but how do I then leave edit picture? I seem to be stuck
in the edit function.

Thanks but I tried that - it is word 2002, part of office XP and clicking in
the document doesn't seem to work and I can't find an exit or close that
doesn't close the whole document. Other suggestions?

Click back into your document?

Can't remember 2002 specifically, but take a look in the File menu & see if
there isn't something like "Close & Return to Word". There should also be a
little toolbar with a "Close" or "Exit" button on it, IIRC.
