I run Microsoft Office XP Pro on a stand alone PC and have been having
problems with editing objects (such as spreadsheets or charts) in PowerPoint.
Whe I attempt to edit, I get the following message:
"Microsoft can't start the application required to open this object. An
error occurred and this feature is no longer functioning properly. Would you
like to repair this feature now?
When I press YES, It gives the following message:
The server application, source file, or item can't be found, or returned an
unknown error. You may need to reinstall the server application.
I have done a repai and a complete reinstallation of Microsoft Office to no
avail.
Would appreciate any help or fies for this problem
