Entourage Seems to Corrupt Inbound PDF's

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: imap

When I receive a PDF attached to an email in Entourage I can't open it. If I save it first and then attempt to open it I get the same error. I then installed the newest Abode Reader (9) and it also fails to open document. If I use Mac Mail or Outlook on a Windows computer the PDF's are OK.

Preview reports:
Couldn't open the file. It may be corrupt or a file format that Preview doesn't recognize.

Adobe reports:
There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired.

Yet some PDF's open fine. Most don't.

I believe all software has the latest updates. I'm new to Mac so any help would be appreciated. Hey - I thought this stuff never happened to Mac"s! (Or so my friends that converted me say)

In the Entourage messages, do you see a yellow bar at the top that says
something like, "Download complete message"? If so, click that link so
that you receive all the data. Then save and open the PDF.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Bill. So simple and yes that was it! I surfed for days trying to solve this. I just had to open my eyes and read.
