Errir message when trying to install with Access Runtime

Gordon Jones

I have a CD with a demo version of my program, packaged to include Access
2002 Runtime. Suddenly I am getting feedback that when two users tried to
install it, they got the error message "The Office System Pack cannot be
installed on this system because it requires Windows NT 4.0 or later."

Does anyone know what causes this, and how to get by it?

Thankx,

Gordon

Thanks for the information. But how do I get the Runtime package to install?

Allen, thanks. I feel like a dummy. I didn't notice the link to the
article on your first response, and all I saw was the 'you may receive...'
and thought that was your response, which was playing my question back to me.
The article certainly describes the problem and the solution. I had tried
to find the problem in the Knowledge Base, but couldn't.

THANKS AGAIN!

Gordon
