This is an error I ran into when I tried to install the
Office 2003 upgrade. It said "Error 2755 Internal
Machine Error." (No Network mentioned)
This error was caused by the way I installed the Beta.
It gave me a choice of installing over the existing
Office or installing it separate. I installed it
separate, but it deleted several files from the earlier
version. When I tried to upgrade, it deleted the Beta
and pinged on the Error 2755 because it couldn't find the
files the Beta had deleted from the previous version.
To fix it, pop in the CD ROM from the previous version,
and open one of the programs. It'll install the files it
needs to. Then install the newer version.
