Error 3044

Hi. I am trying to access my DB in Microsoft Access 2013. When I try to open it I get an error message like this
<Path> is not a valid path. Make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file resides. (Error 3044) I am not sure why this is happening and I am not sure what do or what steps to take. Please help me. Thank you
