Our server recently crashed over the weekend, and ever since then, I can
send emails, but not emails with attachments. I keep getting the error
code "-3253". How does this get corrected? What is wrong?

This is the info we have on the error:

Error -3253

"Communication to server failed or was dropped. Mail could not be sent.
Error -3253"

One user reported: The sent mail folder was too large. Moved 18 months
of e-mails and their attachments to a new folder and it worked like a champ.

However, this does not seem to match your problems. I would create a new
Identity in Entourage and enter your Exchange account and let it sync
backup to the server.

Optimize Entourage to better work with Exchange

We verified that there was not too many files in the sent file and also created a new identity, but are still having the same problem sending out emails with attachments. We have also reviewed the entourage optimization link you sent, but mostly it doesn't seem to apply to us.

I am the only Mac in the company and this is the first time we've come across this problem, when the server would not re-start. The company is in the process of installing new servers right now, but they are not managing anything right now.

Entourage also keeps asking me for my login password and comes up with an error that states that login failure has occurred.

Thanks for your help.

It sounds like the setting on the server are the problem. Can you use
OWA until they get the new servers going?
