Error Code 12000 on save

Hello. I am working in PS 2007, SP1, and I am getting an error code on some
of my projects in my program upon saving the project. I did see one other
post on here that said this was related to the cache, but I have cleaned
that up and believe it is something else in the data. When I go to save, I
get the red triangle exclamation point and a message stating:

Job Type: Save
Error ID: 12000(0x2EED)
Error Description: Project Server encountered a problem with this error
code; 12000

The Project could not be saved to the server. Please retry saving teh
project. If teh probelem persists, save teh project as a MPP file and
contact your system administrator.

That is true it does say it is a cache issue. I would also make sure if this
project is checked
out due to previous save/publish attempts. Could be corruption with in the
file as well.

Two things I worked through to resolve this.

1) Looks like a bad custom field may have caused some issues, whic was
deleted from PWA.
2) Two tables (Entry and Usage) and a View (Task Usage) in MS Project were
corrupt.
In the enterprise global file that contains this data I validated they were
correct with the correct columns, etc. (Need to check out this file from PS
to edit -> Tools/Enterprise Options/Open Enterprise Global)Then opened the
projects one by one to review. In some cases I would get a message that the
table already existed and it asked me if I wanted to overwrite it with the
table that was in the global file. The option to do this is REPLACE, aka Yes.

If the replace dialog box is not prompted, go in and clear your cache,

One other note, for the one Table, I got a message when opening MS project
that &Entry already existed, so I had to go into the actual project and
delete the old table from the project, so it would use the global table
(Tools/Organizer/tables)
