Error in Queue, Reporting (Project Publish) ??

P

Psk

Hi,
I am using Project server 2007, if i try to publish the project through
Project proffesitional, the 'status' bar showing "publish job completed
successfully". Then i open "Report Database" in sql server for verifying
"Project Assignment Task" informations, but not updated the informations on
the table "MSP_EpmAssignment_UserView" for the particular project.

Finally i have checked the "Queue Status", found some issues for
publishing projects given below..
1. JOB TYPE: WSS Workspace Create
JOB STATUS: Failed But Not Blocking Correlation
2. JOB TYPE: Reporting (Project Publish)
JOB STATUS: Waiting to be Processed (Sleeping)

Note: Not updaing the Task informations on the RDB for the project.

If any one can help me, helpful.

Regards,
Psk

Psk,

Regarding the first error:
Did you happen to create a custom workspace template?

Regarding the second:
Do you have one or more empty tasks in the project that you are trying
to update? In the project plan, this would appear as a line in the plan
with a number in the gray left column but no other data on the line.

Hi,
Thanks for your inputs.

1. I didn't create any custom workspace template.( usually i used to save &
publish the project)
2. Why i am looking on the Reporting(project publish) issue, if i added some
tasks for the project in the plan then save & publish, I will be not able to
getting the recently added task informations for the project on the Report
DB. Not only this project, if i add any of the project it's happening the
same.

Note: I am not able to publish the new project it's showing
Err:
WORKSPACE YOUR ARE TRYING TO PROVISION ALREADY EXISTS.
PLEASE PROVIDE DIFF NAME AND TRY AGAIN.

I have specified the exact Path, virtual server: http://PC104; Server URL:
PWA1; forward by <project name>

Please provide me a solutions..

Regards,
Psk

How many projects are you seeing this issue with?

Please provide a detailed list of all the settings in Server Settings -
Project Workspace Provisioning Settings.

As for my initial reply:
1) If you do not already have an existing workspace with the same name,
I have seen this error occur when the Administrator has created a
custom workspace template based off of a workspace that was already
provisioned for a project.

2) There was a known issue in RTM (fixed in SP1) that would cause the
errors you described if there were blank tasks in the project plan.
