Error message Entourage 2008: 5.5.2 Syntax error n22sm6584377pof.1

for no apparent reason i'm getting this error message every time i hit send and receive. i'm doing imap forwarding from gmail to entourage 2008.

here's the error message:
5.5.2 Syntax error n22sm6584377pof.1

and it says unable to send messages - but, messages do come thru. what's it mean?

Can you explain what you mean by "IMAP forwarding from gmail to
entourage 2008"?

5.5.2 is an SMTP error, which means Entourage is having problems sending
mail. Have a look at these instructions for connecting Entourage to
Gmail's IMAP service:
