Error message when sending workgroup message

When I choose to send an email message using the workgroup
options Team Assign/Update etc I receive an error message
telling me that an unexpected email eror has occured and
that I should check the recipient's address, free up
memeory etc etc.

I have just installed MS Porject 2000 and the first time I
tested out this function it sent off the email howver on
next trying and ever since I get this message and can not
get around it.

I run Windows XP Prof, with Outlook 2002 and MS Project
2000. My Outlook has MS Exchange and Exchange Fax services
configured.

Can anyone tell me how I resolve this matter. The advice
on MS Knowledge Base (article 218975) was of no use as it
referred to outlook 97 instructions which I am unable to
match up with my version.
