Excel 2003 "Unable To Read File" error

10 weeks worth of work was lost this morning when I tried to open an Excel
2003 spreadsheet with one macro, several pivot tables, and many thousands of
rows of data and got the message "Unable to Read File".
Post-file recovery it's all a bunch of gibberish.

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!
