EXCEL 2008 crashes

Hi,
I have been using OFFICE 2004 for the last couple of months and bought a new Macbook Air and upgraded to 2008.

I have spreadsheets that contain VBA created macro's that everytime i try to load them crash. I have multiple files all based on the same structure and everyone crashes, it gets to the delete macro or continue window, either option still crashes.

nothing works, it then just reboots excel in blank.... The files work fine either on my old 2004 or on my PC. They are saved in 97-2003 format.

Hi,

Would you be able to provide me with a spreadsheet containing a macro that
crashes, or describe the type of macro in the files that crash? Please send
to (e-mail address removed).

Thanks,

Pat

I am having a similar problem where I will try to OPEN an Excel
document created in 2004 and it just COMPLETELY HANGS my MacBook Pro
17 (must do a hard restart). This happens with random Excel sheets
that do not have anything in common.

Excel also crashes when I am in a chart and try to EDIT DATA.

I hope an update is coming soon. Excel 2004 worked flawlessly and I am
about to go backwards and re-install 2004.

Thanks for ANY help you can provide.
