Excel menu changes

Just noticed that my Excel menu has the File menu moved to right just to the left of the Window menu and that the View menu does not show up at all!

I didn't do anything that I know of other than moving Office from my old G5, via Copy Cloner, to the Intel iMac I am now using.

Any help out there?

First - moving Office from one machine to another causes problems more
often than not. Use your installation disk and update instead.

You can reset the menus by, with Excel closed, deleting the

Excel Toolbars (12)

file in the

~/Library/Preferences/Microsoft/Office 2008/

folder (where ~ is your home directory).
