Exchange 2007 with Entourage 2008 problem:The correct root certificate not installed

Email Client: Exchange

Hello, I have Exchange 2007 running on Windows 2008 and I am trying to add my exchange mail account to Entourage 2008 but when I go through the setup wizard, I get the error "Unable to establish a secure connection to domain.com because the correct root certificate is not installed." I have a GoDaddy domain which works just fine with Outlook 2007 but nothing I try to get it working on Entourage works. I have been reading hundreds of forum posts all day and I can't seem to get anywhere. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a misconfiguration on the server? Do I really not have the right root certificate? If I don't, how can I get it off the server or from GoDaddy?

If I click ok on the message, it takes me to a different screen saying that Entourage cannot automatically setup my account but I don't know what to put for Public Folders Server and LDAP server and such. Can anyone please help me figure these things out? I am stressing a lot over here......

Best regards,
Vlad

Hi Vlad,
Hello, I have Exchange 2007 running on Windows 2008 and I am trying to
add my exchange mail account to Entourage 2008 but when I go through the
setup wizard, I get the error "Unable to establish a secure connection
to domain.com because the correct root certificate is not installed." I
have a GoDaddy domain which works just fine with Outlook 2007 but
nothing I try to get it working on Entourage works.

Outlook probably doesn't hit the same server and in any case, it could
have the proper certificate installed.
I have been reading
hundreds of forum posts all day and I can't seem to get anywhere. Am I
doing something wrong? Is there a misconfiguration on the server? Do I
really not have the right root certificate? If I don't, how can I get it
off the server or from GoDaddy?

You need to ask them.
If they don't provide the information you can connect to the server
through Safari. You shoudl get the same dialog there. You can then view
the certificate and in the dialog, near the end, get to the link towards
the root .cer certificate.
You need to download it, then double-click to import it in your Login
keychain.
