Exporting Tasks to Excel

S

Shane

I have an issue with our implementation of Project Server.

When we try to export from the mytasks page we get a message saying

"Internet Explorer cannot download Tasks.aspx from <servername>. Internet
Explorer was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is
either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later."

The same problem is experienced using IE 7 or IE6 and Office 2003 or Office
2007.

The export function does work from Project Center but the same error is
received when exporting from Resource Center.

We are using MOPS 2007 on Windows 2003.

I have looked at the solution mentioned in the URLs below but the proposed
solutions do not work.

Any help is appreciated as we are seeing this impact many of our project
instances.

Thank,
Shane

Issue is fixed when you apply SP1 and the Infrastructure update.

I just tested this to validate and it works.

Thanks Jesse but we already have the infrastructure update applied and the
issue persists.

A few other items you can try:

Make sure your site is added to the Trusted sites.

Change the default settings in IE security to enable "Access data sources
across domains"

We have the same issue. The link you posted here (the answer) doesn't seem
to go anywhere?! would love to know how you've fixed it.
