If I open a new message window in Entourage 2008 and type some stuff and then accidentally hit F1, some amount of the typing is erased

happens both on MacBook and Mac Pro

how do I stop this action?

thank you

addendum: happens on both 10.5 and 10.4 and in Entourage 2008 and 2004

It appears to me that Entourage treats F1 as an Undo key (equivalent to
cmd-Z). So if the last thing you did in Entourage was type something, F1 or
cmd-Z will delete it. Type cmd-Y to restore what you typed.

If this bevhaior really bothers you, you can change the behavior of F1 by
using the Keyboard & Mouse system preference. Under the Keyboard Shortcuts
tab, assign some equivalent you like better for the F1 key in Entourage.
