Filter for associated tasks

I am interested in creating a filter (or running a search) with a task
name input that returns tasks that match that search AND other tasks
that are associated by a common resource.

Example:
FILTER for [Name] that contains "Production A"
RETURNS
"Production A 1", which has resource A001
"Production A 2", which has resource A002
ALSO RETURNS
"INSTALLATION A", which also has resource A001
"INSTALLATION B", which also has resource A002

Essentially I am looking for a way to link tasks with common resources
without knowing the specific resource name. Resources are big variables
in my project.

I am very new to Project and this forum has been extremely helpful,
thank you all for your continued support.

Have you looked at the Resource Usage View? (View/Resource Usage). From
there you will see all the resource on the project listed. If you want, try
applying filters to that view and I think you will have what you are asking
about.

There is a sister view as well, the Task Usage View. You may want to filter
that as well. You may be closer to your answer than you think.
