Finding duplicates in two separate Word documents?

Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I need to be able to compare two separate Word documents to find if there are duplicate names between them. Is that possible? Software you can recommend? I also have a laptop with Word 2008...

Sorry, but you are asking two different things here, and they're mutually
exclusive.

Word has a built-in "Compare Documents" command that will tell you how
similar one document is to another.

Apple's Spotlight will enable you to find all the files with a specified
name on your system.

Araxis Find Duplicate Files will find all duplicate files on the system:

Hope this helps
