I created application to automate the creation of powerpoint slides that have
embeded shockwave flash controls. The control uses url to link to the swf
file - not embeded.
As so many others have found out, the flash always stuck at the last frame
of the movie. The difference is, the swf I am pointing to has its own
pause-play control button. As result, none of the propsed remedies work, not
even the flashback plug-in.
Two questions: 1. why does the flash set itself to last frame and play to
false, even at the first time I opened the generated presentation? Is the an
issue with MS Powerpoint or an issue with flash? 2. Since my swf has its own
control (on play by default), should I assume the problem lie in how the
movie is programmed, rather than the rewind issue mentioned earlier?
