Force Green triangle to appear

HI,

I want to do a data import into a system I have a column of apostrophe(s)
folowed my numbers i.e

A

1 '2
2 '3
3 '5
4 '2

I would like to force the Green triangle to appear without stepping into each
cell and manually, editing and pressing enter.

You help is much appreciated in advance.

Tools>Options>Error Checking tab>Uncheck inconsistent formula in region or
Enable background error checking.

Sorry, Check buttons if you want them to appear and uncheck if you want them
to disappear!
