Formatting Palette

I've been having trouble seeing the Formatting Palette! When I access
it, it hides at the bottom of the screen and I have found no way to
display it properly. Have I done something in Preferences to mess it
up? Please help!!!!

You could probably have found this advice if you'd used Google Groups:

I had the same problem as Diana, so I tried this workaround and it created a new problem. The formatting palette again appears on my screen (thanks, Mr. McGimpsey!) but it's inactive. The palette looks like it should, except that it can't be used. Does anyone know how to make it active and useable? Thanks in advance!

Try:

In addition to the positioning commands, enter this in the immediate
window of the VBE:

CommandBars("Formatting Palette").Enabled = True

followed by Return.
