forms and reports opening in same window

Hi,

I have been using a small database (Access 2003) at home where each full-
screen form that opened, maximised in its own window. So if I opened a form
from the main menu, along the task bar, I would see two tabs. If I then
opened a report, a third tab was displayed on the task bar. I was happy with
this and had no problems. t worked like this for about 3 years. Now, I have
opened the same database and when I open a new form or a report there is now
only one tab shown in the task bar - all the full-screen forms and reports
are now opening in the one window and only one tab is deisplayed on the task
bar. This behaviour is only restricted to Access.

I examined the Windows taskbar property and have made sure the "Group Similar
taskbar buttons" is unchecked. It has *never* been set to group similar
taskbar buttons.

The database was working as normal in Access 2003 SP2 and worked as expected
after SP3 was installed. Now, all of a sudden, all forms are opening in the
one window.

I tried the same database on another computer with Access 2003 SP2 and it
worked as it originally did.

I have tried another database and the same thing happens to it - all full-
screen forms and reports open in the same window.

I have no idea what I have done to change this behaviour in the database. I
would appreciate any advice as to what is causing Access to now open all full-
screen forms and reports in the same window.

The OS is Windows XP x64 SP2, Access 2003 SP3.

Many thanks
Anthony

Oooopps!

After posting my message, I had another look and just found the setting in
Access Options "Show Windows in Taskbar" - have been looking all afternoon
and didn't even notice it. Must get my eyes tested.

Stupid me!!! I can't believe I missed it! Sorry everyone!

Anthony
