Formula Builder in a preset Ledger Sheet

I would like to add a new column to a ledger sheet that includes a formula but the formula builder is grayed out. I want to add a simple formula to the Bill Tracker ledger sheet that lets me calculate the split for a bill amount by the number of roommates in the house. Is this possible?
