FoxPro ODBC

How do I import or link to DBF files using the FoxPro ODBC instead of the jet
data engine?

Hi Booner,

First, be sure you have the latest FoxPro and Visual FoxPro ODBC drivers,
downloadable from msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro/downloads/updates/odbc.

In Access, File > Get External Data > Import/Link > Files of Type > ODBC
Databases () > Machine Data Source...

You'll need to decide whether to use the DBC option or the Free Table
option. Basically, if there is a DBC file in the directory where the DBFs
are then point to it, otherwise use the free table option and just point to
the directory.

Thanks Cindy,

Worked like a charm.
