Gantt Chart Bars

Project 2000
Windows XP Pro

For any document, created new or if someone else created, the Gantt Chart
shows all bars as gray. The format bar indicates that the bars are suppose
to be different colors. If the document is opened on another computer, the
bars will show their formatted colors. How do I get the bars to show color
for me.

I have uninstalled and re-installed Project. The bars also prints gray.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you

PJ,
Just to cover the basics, what are the Windows Control Panel display
properties settings? Are they set to show colors on that PC? It might
also be a memory deficiency on that particular PC. If it doesn't have
adequate memory, colors may not display.

Thank you for your interest in my problem.
WCP display settings: 32 bit
Yes they are set to show colors.
This notebook has 2 gigs of ram.
One other note: when I logged in as another user the Gantt Chart showed the
correct bar colors so the color issue is user specific.

Thank you again

PJ,
You're welcome. Since it appears to be user specific, it seems to point
to a Windows setting issue. I'm not a WIndows guru so you might want to
post to a Windows general newsgroup.
