Getting Calendar to open in full size window

A

Andrea

I'm using Outlook 2003 on a machine running Windows XP.

One day about a month ago I opened my calendar in a new window. My
original mail window was still open, I just wanted to check some dates for a
possible meeting. So I opened the calendar by going to the bottom of the
Navigation Pane and right-clicking on the Calendar icon and selecting "Open
in New Window."

Now, however, whenever I try to do the same thing (i.e., click Open Calendar
in New Window) the calendar doesn't open in a full size window. Instead, it
only opens in a very small window, and I have to resize it or maximize it in
order to see the calendar.

I would like to have the Calendar open in a full size window, like it used to.

I've Googled this extensively and can't seem to find the answer. I've also
searched these Office discussion groups and searched MS help and can't find
the answer.

Some of the things I've tried are those suggested by Diane Poremsky here:

http://forums.download32.com/Microsoft-Outlook/Outlook-doesn-t-remember-window-size-1033.html

These include the advice at
http://www.slipstick.com/emo/2008/up080703.htm#4, and her suggestion to close
outlook then delete the frame key from
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Messag e\ and restart outlook. I
have tried holding down the shift key and double clicking in the top left
corner of the window.

However, I have not had any success with any of these methods. The window
still opens only in a very small size, and I have to manually resize it or
maximize it.

Is there another way?

Thank you!

Andrea
