Global Address List not diplaying all users

We are using Outlook 2003 with Exchange v6.5.7638.1. When I create a new
user in active directory, they will not appear to some end users in the
company Global Address List when looking for their address to email to. We
can find the users in "All Address Lists" - "All Users", but most users do
not know to look there. I was wondering if this is a common issue and if
there is a fix for this. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

How long after adding them do the users not find them? If you have a large AD, replication can take some time. If they still do not show after 24 hours, then I would be concerned.

Hello Milly,

Thank you for your help. I had some outlook users check again an the
new users are now listed in the Global Address List. I was not aware that
replication would take that long. I am not sure how long it took, but it was
not more than 24 hours. That is something I can monitor in the futrue,
though. Again I appreciate your insight! :) Have a good weekend!
