Groove 2007 Trial - unable to create New Workspace

pointer!]

NOTE: I have used pre-Microsoft Groove Virtual Office for (literally) years.

I just downloaded the Groove 2007 trial software. I am running Vista Home
Premium.

Much to my chagrin, I cannot create a New Workspace: when I attempt to do
so, the Microsoft Office Activation Wizard is displayed. I can either "begin
the conversion process now" or press Close. I.e., it appears I cannot
actually create a new workspace.

I must be doing something stupid.

TIA

Hi Abdodson

Did you get an answer form anyone?

I also used Groove for years and was surprised at the trial version. I was
acting as a "consultant" for a friend who needed Groove (she and her company)
and I gave her instruction to install Groove. She came back to me and said
it doesn't work. Surprised, I tried it at home and found the trial doesn't
work do anything. They must be loosing so many customers with this "trial"
version of software.

So there is no way to DO anything with the trial version of Groove? How am I
supposed to see how it works if I can't make a Work Space??

Hi Abdodson,

I was having the same problem, but the fix is a simple one.
Right-click on Groove in the System Tray and click Exit.
Restart Groove. (No doubt you've done this by now anyway)
It is explained in this MS KB - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925838
Another "Undocumented Feature"

Kind Regards,

TC
