Groove not synchronizing after upgrade

Groove is not synchronizing after upgrade to final version. I even
uninstalled and reinstalled. The communications manager says it's
communicating normally but nothing is being synchronized. The only way to
force a synchronization is to shut down and restart groove on both machines
(i'm only trying to sync two machines). Then it works - for that one time.
Any changes made after restart fails to synchronize until both grooves are
shutdown and restarted. I tried creating a new workspace to see if that
would sync but no dice.

Any ideas on what I should look at? It's not like there are a lot fo
options inside of groove itself.

PS: I did try the grooveclean.exe tool on both machines. That did not work.
