'Grouped' shapes and drag and drop

I want to use the Drag and Drop macro mentioned by Da id Marcovitz in a
response earlier this year (June 29th)

However, I find I cannot have an action setting applied to a group object!
Is this correct?

I am trying to create a number of simple 'block' shapes each with a caption
(like simple jigsaw pieces) that a student can drag and fit together in
various combinations. However, the perfectly good looking shapes I 'drew' in
powerpoint cannot be assigned an action!

Is there a work-around, or will I have to use shapes drawn in another package?

Try cutting the group and "paste special" as something else eg a png file.

Works a treat. I have never used 'Paste Special' in PowerPoint in 12 years
of use!!!

I wonder what else it can do?
