Help needed!!! Encounter error when linking tables in Access XP

Encounter this erorr when I used Linked Table Manager

I got this error message when I click on "Always prompt for new location" :-
You cannot use ODBC to import from, export to, or link an external Microsoft
Jet or ISAM database table to your database

If I do not click on the "Always prompt for new location" :-
Application-defined or object-defined error.

Anyone encounter this error before? Kindly advise.
