Help with installation of disk

red 37

Trying to load Office Home & Student 2007. Disk gets halfway through and then
a box pops up and reads: My Documents folder can not be used. Find another
folder. click ok (I did that and then this box comes up)
Homestudentr.WW/HomeSrWW.cab. Browse to a valid installation source, and then
click 0k.

It then gives me a choice to pick from drives on My Computer. I can pick
the E drive (which already has the name of the disk that I am trying to
install on it like -- Office12 (E:) -- can click ok and program tries to run
from there but when it gets back to same file I keep getting the same box
like I mentioned above. I have tried to run it about 10-15 times and it keeps
looping back to this. How did I get this take care of ???????

Red,

I'm going to suggest you get someone to come over and help you... WHY?
Because it is not now, not ever, nor will/has it ever be possible to install
software on to itself. What does that mean... You have the disk in your DVD
drive, that would be E:\, and you are trying to install your software on
E:\.

So my first suggestion would be, get some help, now, before you go any
further. Once help has arrived and the disk still won't install, go back to
the Microsoft interface and scroll down further until you come to Office and
ask questions there. (Because this newsgroup is for Microsoft Access a
database software not included in your version of Office.)

Good Luck,

Gina is right,
I would usually install to (C:) drive.. or default location that shows up.
