Help with pack and go

R

ref

I am new to Microsoft Publisher. I am using Publisher
2002 and when I try to pack a relatively small
(240 Megabit) file the pack and go wizard stops at about 40%. I
get an error message to the affect that I am out of disk
space and should delete some material to make more room
on the disk. I get this message when burning to a CD or
if I try to pack it to the hard drive. The hard drive is
40 Gig capacity and only has about 10 Gigs of data on it.
Has anyone else run into this, and do you have any
suggestions?
Thanks

Ron

Thanks for the reply. Yes I do mean 240MB. As I said, I am new to publisher
and this may be a rather large file for publisher, but fora book it is rather
small, (60 pages). I would also think that it is rather small in terms of a
40gig harddrive. So, do you think the file is too large for Publisher to
handle? Can you think of any reason why Publisher is telling me I am out of
disk space when I still have 70% of the hard drive empty? Again, any help is
appreciated.

What is the exact error? Doing a disk clean-up may help, My Computer, right-click
your hard drive, properties, disk clean up, there are options and it may take a few
minutes to populate.
Publisher, as with all Office products, creates temporary files for certain
processes. This is a large file you are converting.
