How can I create an HTML email in Outlook that shows images at thecorrect size?

Hi

When I insert and image into an HTML email using Outlook2003 (using
Insert ==> Picture ==> Picture source etc) it always seems to insert
it too small!

e.g. I have a .GIF image that is 784x268 pixels and after insert it
(as above) into an HTML email, it has clearly shrunk a bit and this
makes the text in the image become blurred.

When I take a screenshot (using Alt/Print Screen) it is clear that the
image is only 799x285 pixels.

Most irritating.

(Btw I even tried importing it into Word2003 and then cutting and
pasting out of Word into the Outlook email, it is pasted in even
smaller (650x239 according to my screenshot) Aaaargh !!! )

Any suggestions?

How can I create an HTML email in Outlook that shows images at the
correct size?

P.S. My setup is:
Outlook2003/Windows7 64bit
Settings:
- Windows resolution: 1920x1200
- Windows text size: Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display
==> "Custom 120%"

Make sure that your images are 96dpi,
otherwise Outlook won't display them correctly.
72dpi is not correctly handled by Outlook.
Does this help?
