How can I programatically add OLE objects to the Object or Note fields?

How can I *programatically* add OLE objects to a task's Object or Note
fields?
Preferably without using the clipboard, if possible.

Code or link to code will be great.

Have you tried recording a macro to do what you want? Usually if recording a
macro doesn't record anything it can't be done, but otherwise you get the
answer!

Please don't cross-post. Its a real piss off to answer a post and find it
