How do I clear ERROR 1101 in PERT charts

I'm getting ERROR 1101- when I try to calculate PERT from my Gantt charts.
It says could not find file.

We're also getting messages when we try to make Phase II a predecessor to
Phase III. It says something about a circular relationship.

Any thoughts?

I don't have a ready solution for the first problem, other than to make
sure you have the latest updates to whichever version of Project you are
using and to make sure the file does exist and is in the same directory.

With regard to the circular relationship problem. The most prevalent
cause of circular relationships is links on summary lines. Basically,
don't do it. For more info, see FAQ 48 - summary task linking on our MVP
website at, http://www.mvps.org/project/faqs.htm. Another prime source
for circular relationships occurs in a master file where links between
subprojects are not exclusively of the forward pass variety.
