How do I create a presentation within a presentation?

Hi! I'm very new to the mac as I've been using the PC all this while.

When using Powerpoint on the PC, I was able to create a presentation within a presentation by clicking on "Insert Object" and clicking "Microsoft Powerpoint Presentation".

This feature makes it very easy for me to manage my presentations, especially when it's time to edit and delete slides. As the "offshoots" are not affected.

However, I seem to be unable to do so on the mac. Can someone help?

PPt presentations are not embeddable objects in the Mac version, but there
may be an approach that will work just as well using other features of the
program... In fact, IMHO, it works better :)

You can insert one or more slides from another file using Insert> Slides
From> Other Presentation. You can also accumulate all the slides you need in
one file & use the Slide Show> Custom Shows feature to assemble as many
variations/combinations of slides in whatever order each Custom Show needs &
when necessary just modify the Custom Shows to include/exclude slides.
