how do i fix Microsoft Word errors problems when opening software.

errorWord2000SR-1

i can't get my Word 2000 SR-1 software to open becuase error message stating
that an error occurred and needs to report the error to the Microsoft Server
or Database, i installed my Word software through the Microsoft Works Suite
and never had a problem with the software not been able to open and do work
on, how do i fix this problem please send me advice to help resolve this
issue in order to use my Word software again, thank you!
